Wildlife Water School is an inclusive swim school for kids of all abilities — we specialize in supporting disabled swimmers and creating a fun, safe, confidence-building experience for everyone. We offer private lessons, sibling doubles, non-sibling doubles, small groups, sibling groups, stroke improvement, and parent-me classes.

How to Sign Up for Wildlife Water School Lessons

• Locations and Schedule:

  • Greensburg YMCA: Sundays, 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM

  • East Allegheny High School: Sundays, 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM

    • ​We are only open at the Greensburg YMCA and East Allegheny Junior/Senior High School on Sundays during Winter 2026. These are our only running locations/times at this moment.

  • Start Date: January 18, 2026

  • Frequency: We are booking plans for four consecutive weeks until March 15th, with no lessons on 2/15. Make sure to select a booking plan that allows for all four weeks to be completed by March 15th. It is your responsibility to ensure that your chosen dates align with this timeline.

• Pricing Plan Options:

  • Buy a 4-lesson pricing plan for a spot that allows you to book up to 4 classes.

  • You can book your classes on the next 4 dates (Sundays) that Wildlife hosts lessons.

  • If a week is skipped that Wildlife does not hold lessons, a staff member will extend your subscription manually for another week, so you always have four dates available.

• Example of Lesson Schedule:

  • If you begin on January 25, your lesson dates will be:

    • 1/25

    • 2/1

    • 2/8

    • 2/22 (No lesson on 2/15)

• Starting and Booking Classes:

  • You can start lessons on any date; just ensure that you set your start date to the day of your first lesson.

  • Lessons must be booked online; visit the Book Online section to see available dates.

  • Each time you schedule a lesson, you need to go to Book Online again to book your next one. Lessons will not automatically reoccur each week, you need to book each lesson individually to get your 4 lessons in, using your plan.

• Makeup Classes:

  • Makeup lessons can only be scheduled within the four Sundays Wildlife offers beginning with your starting date.

  • If there’s a skipped week, you’ll have four Sundays offered over a total of five weeks.

  • You can book multiple makeups on the same day if needed.

  • Location Flexibility: You can switch locations for makeup lessons.

• Special Makeup Class Policies:

  • Parent/Me, Non-Sibling Double, and Stroke Improvement Classes: Only offered once per day at each location. If you need a makeup for this class, you will need to travel to both locations in the same day or email wildlifewaterschool@gmail.com for special requests.

    • Non-sibling Double Makeup Exception: You may book a small group correlating to your child's level in order to get a makeup in at the same location. 

  • Makeups are free but not guaranteed and are subject to availability—no refunds.

• Instructor Information:

  • Instructors can change, and the online booking may not always reflect accurate availability.

  • You will find out who your instructor is upon arrival.

• Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancel lessons as soon as possible using the confirmation email received after booking.

  • Cancellation Fees: Lessons canceled within 24 hours of lesson time incur a $10 fee per child.

  • No-Show Fees: $10 fee per child for each 30-minute lesson missed.

• Cost-Effectiveness:

  • It is more economical to purchase the 4-lesson pricing plan rather than booking seperate lessons.

  • When purchasing a pricing plan, buy it first, then head to Book Online to schedule each lesson.

Booking Process Steps:

1. Fill out the intake form if you have not done so already. This only needs done once.

2. Purchase a 4-lesson pricing plan ensuring you set your start date as the day you would like your first lesson.

3. Go to book online to schedule your first lesson.

4. Repeat Step 3 for each additional lesson until you have booked all 4.

5. Remember: Lessons do not automatically book each week; you must manually schedule each one.
