Please explain to the instructor the following about the child: name, age, relevant medical information, if their picture is allowed, swim level/skills, teaching style (see below), fears, disabilities, precautions, etc.
-
1. Embrace the Challenge: While we recognize that swimming can be intimidating, it's essential to face our fears because swimming is a vital life-saving skill. We encourage children to push through their apprehensions and continue with the lesson, understanding that persistence is key
2. Gentle Guidance: We adopt a step-by-step approach, being mindful of each child's readiness. If they are not quite prepared for a specific skill, we take a step back to ensure they feel comfortable. Although this approach may take a bit longer to yield results, it creates a more enjoyable and positive experience
3. A Balanced Approach: We believe in combining both strategies—supporting children to face their fears while also providing gentle guidance. This mix allows for resilience and fun in their swimming journey
