  • Welcome to Wildlife Water School, we are so excited to have you

  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your class to 1150 Jacks Run Road, North Versailles Township, PA 15137

  • Park in the parking lot next to the Junior/Senior High School

  • Go to the front entrance and someone will be there to let you in. If there is not someone there, call (724)-708-8133

  • Go down the hallway either into the changing rooms or the office door leading to the pool

  • Once in the pool area, find the box labeled with the instructor you signed up with, and please take a seat after the child is in their swimsuit and ready to go!

  • Extra spectators are invited and may sit on the pool deck. At least one adult is required to be on deck with their children. Please keep voices to a minimum as the pool gets loud

  • The instructor or substitute instructor will come up to you 1-2 minutes before or after the start time.

  • Please explain to the instructor the following about the child: name, age, relevant medical information, if their picture is allowed, swim level/skills, teaching style (see below), fears, disabilities, precautions, etc.

    • 1. Embrace the Challenge: While we recognize that swimming can be intimidating, it's essential to face our fears because swimming is a vital life-saving skill. We encourage children to push through their apprehensions and continue with the lesson, understanding that persistence is key

    • 2. Gentle Guidance: We adopt a step-by-step approach, being mindful of each child's readiness. If they are not quite prepared for a specific skill, we take a step back to ensure they feel comfortable. Although this approach may take a bit longer to yield results, it creates a more enjoyable and positive experience

    • 3. A Balanced Approach: We believe in combining both strategies—supporting children to face their fears while also providing gentle guidance. This mix allows for resilience and fun in their swimming journey

  • If you child is 5 and under in a lesson with other children, please sit with them on the side on the pool to ensure safety. If the instructor asks or if your child is in high risk of falling in, please sit on the side

  • Observe the lesson, feel free to talk to the instructor during the lesson about any concerns or input, as the parent always knows best

  • The instructor will walk your child back to you at the end of the lesson. You are welcome to briefly give the instructor any feedback

  • Now for the best part: wrap your child up in a warm towel and head over for a treat

  • You can change your child in the locker room

  • Please report any final questions or concerns to the Miss Vicky or a manager. You can talk to them anytime you are at the pool. We are happy to help you and remember, feedback only makes us better! If you would email, message wildlifewaterschool@gmail.com
